Library spirit animals, now cuter!

Surely you will recall our famous series of library staff posing with their spirit animals?

Surely?

And if you're interested in this famous bit of clerkmanifesto and library history, you can scroll through the thousands of posts in clerkmanifesto and... eventually you'll find them. If you work backwards from today you'll find them even sooner, because I don't think they could be more than a year old.

But a lot has changed in the last year.

(Oooooooooo, but not as much as is going to change in the next one!)

As we so often do in clerkmanifesto, especially in the realm of photography and AI confection, we like to revisit themes and projects with new and different capabilities. And so I have revisited these spirit animal pictures with the ability to turn them into darling Pixar style versions of themselves. These are cute! Not all of my conversions turned out how I wanted, but many did. And there are a lot that I want to show today. Many of you don't know all these people that well, which I think will reduce the charm of these pictures for you. So I will try to keep it all to a manageable number.

But brace yourself. It is still a lot of pictures:

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
