A few things I forgot about work while on vacation for three weeks

A Few Things I Forgot About Work While on Vacation in Italy for Three Weeks

1. This is hard work. I am sweating! Or wait, no, I think it's that we have no windows that open and the building manager hates cooling the building to any temperature under 83 degrees.

The work is actually pretty easy.

2. It's kind of boring. Was it always this boring? I don't remember it being quite so boring.

3. Hurrying. So is this what all those waiters and waitresses were doing?

4. Hours can last as many as 217 minutes.

5. So I'm supposed to care about all this, right?

6. There is no gelato.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
