A leaf from my book

By your leaf I am going to herald the coming fall season with a collection of photographs of leaves. I leave it to you to decide which you like best; the close up dramatically backlit pictures of leaves, or the

or the...

Well, they're mostly dramatic backlit close up pictures of leaves, so I'm not sure you'll get to decide anything.

How about this:

If you don't like them, let me know, and I vow that I will turn over a new leaf!

Though as Yeats said:

Though leaves are many, the root is one.

So go ahead and leaf through these pictures.

Maybe if you like one or two take a leaf out of my book and leave a bad leaf pun in the comments.

I believe in you!

  1. Pretty pictures. I like the color contrast and the way the veins look up close.

  2. They're all remarkable, ut I do have favorites. If you want to know which are my favorites, giving them identifiers, like maybe numbers.

But in the meanwhile, the reddish one that's sort of fan shaped is particularly nice.

    1. Got it: Red fan shape and will consider numbers in future. Glad you liked them.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
