Unadulterated

Yesterday I made an elaborate point of how, as interested as I am in my video game tourism, I won't be showing any of my straight up, unaltered and unadulterated pictures of these impressive game worlds. Then, today, in a game called Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, I made it to the part of the game taking place in England in the 900's.

And it's beautiful, at times like an old painting by Corot or Constable.

So I took a bunch of in game pictures, prepared them to be tampered with...

and then I thought:

Maybe I'll just show you some of these before I mess with them.

These really are a fair representation of what this game looks like most of the time.

  1. Those are pretty amazing. I can see why you would want to send time in the environs of that game!

    1. Well, it's a lot of raiding villages with your axe, but yeah, it's pretty nice there.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
