A brief scattering of notes from the library

Lost and Found:

That rapscallion kid was up to mischief again at the library today! I chased him out of the building and this fell out of his pocket as he ran.

He could have put somebody's eye out!!!

Installation:

An esteemed local artist was in this morning, assembling an on-site interactive sculpture at the library. We didn't know it would block access to the upper floor where both our fiction and non-fiction collections are. I think that might be by design though, and a metaphor.

Library Redesign:

I've been showing some simple photo tricks I made this afternoon of the library to my co-workers. To a person their reaction has been a wry: "I wish you designed the library."

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
