The bridge

Late at night, waiting for my cough to calm down enough to let me go to bed, I found myself reading old clerkmanifesto columns. Some of these posts were sequential from around 2021. Some columns skipped around the late teens and were based off of a random label I had chosen, like "management" or "river" or "publishing".

And then, with my head full of stars, I turned off my computer and went to bed.

I lay there waiting for my mind to calm down, but it wasn't happening very easily. So I thought:

I wish that I could see clerkmanifesto like the world sees it, so that for just that moment I could understand what it is they don't see in it.

Only then, finally, could I sleep.

Post a Comment

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
