Around my house we have been discussing retirement a lot lately.
But don't worry, I won't be retiring from clerkmanifesto!
In fact, once I retire I'll be able to give it my all.
Just kidding. This, strangely, is already my all.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.
I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!
One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
i am finally chucking it in at 72. It's difficult to leave when you love your job.
ReplyDeleteI like my job sometimes, or am fond of it, like with a charming, but deeply problematic pet I am responsible for. I suspect that I would possibly be constitutionally unable to love a job. So loving your job seems like a real accomplishment to me. I hope you find equal satisfaction in retirement.
