All the wisdom in the world

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
-Henry David Thoreau

I don't know what to do with this quote. It grabbed me by the scruff of the neck while I was looking at books about elephants. It left me wobbly. But everything leaves me wobbly lately; the Finnish book about the guy who leaves everything and travels with a rabbit for a year, elephants listening with their feet, by vibration, and just all this thinking about writing. I wander around the Library, composing in my head, fixing things in my mind that no one will ever be able to lay a hand on no matter how perfect the fix. And everywhere is answers...

Oh, here it is:

I have accumulated all the wisdom in the world. It is packed in my psyche like junk in some hoarders attic. I have all the wisdom in the world.

Now it is time to use some.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
