A poem about the fairness of life
Of all the things that ever were, And all the things that may be still, The experts on it will concur, And speak it with a thrill. "Life's not fair." Know it and see it and play your part. "Life's not fair." Quit it and take it and give it your heart. "Life's not fair." The angels cry. Life's not fair to the day you die. But you must learn on the by and by, Those who so tell you do nothing but lie.
