Camera roll

There's a lot of pictures here lately, and I don't know that anyone is all that keen on all the playing around with extreme filters and apps, and the endless pictures barely of... anything, but since I am spending sixteen hours a day pouring over them while listening to the delicious new novel by Andy Weir, I don't have too many options to put much else here.

Up to now I have been assembling a lot of the pictures along the lines of themes, but I have too many pictures now for that coherency and order. It's all so pretty out. Spring is going insane. It's sunny! I keep taking pictures and moving them from camera to computer editor to phone to phone apps to computer editor. By the time I'm done with the 180 pictures I've taken on some lovely walk I have winnowed them all down to 390 pictures.

And I am compelled to share.

Isn't that what this is all about?

I am still thinking about clerkmanifesto 3.0, and maybe all these pictures will work better on that. Maybe I've outgrown clerkmanifesto. Maybe I've run it into the ground.

I don't know. It's not my job to know.

Here is a better collection of my many pictures that haven't found a place here lately. You don't have to like all of them. Not all of them have special effects. Like I said, you don't have to like all of them. You only have to like some of them.

I'm just being honest. There's a lot to choose from.

  1. I wish there were a way to somment on specific pictures. Right off the bat, I liked "1" and I wondered if I would find one I liked better. Well, yes, "4" is astonishing in good ways. It's one I could imagine printing and hanging. Where, I'm not sure; it's rather scary.
And a heartfelt vote for the squirrel.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
