Pretend Europe

My thoughts are much in Europe these days.

What are they doing in Europe?

Travelling!

I hope they're having a good time.

So even though we don't have much Europe here in Saint Minneapolis, if I come across something, between the flowers and the squirrels, that has a tiny bit of Europe in it, I give it my best shot. This basically comes down to:

1. Find a church from the 1800's.

2. Take lots of pictures from funny angles hoping some will turn out to be in focus.

3. Color saturate them.

4. Soak them in water.

5. Crumble them up and step on them.

6. Smear on some dirt.

7. Iron them flat and carefully brush them off with great tenderness.

Europe!

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
