Flotsam and Jetsam

One could say that clerkmanifesto presents each day a meticulously crafted work of small art. And though it be tiny in a World that is far too big for its own good, there is no scale when one looks at something. For when we regard, that is all of the conversation, and a pebble mused on in our hand is no different than a star.

Or

One could say that clerkmanifesto is simply the detritus of a tide. And the tide washes up the shore, and leaves behind whatever has fallen out of the ocean. And here you are walking along the beach, and, voila. It is all random and wild.

And now it is yours.

  1. I've just discovered Clerk Manifesto and am glad that I have. Recently I was introduced to the term "pebbling," or leaving small tokens for the members of your circle. I feel like CM is quickly becoming part of my circle of sharing. Hearts and bugs and elephants. What is not to love. Also, references to Tony Hillerman books in the mystery top 100, though what are your thoughts on Anne Hillerman.......

    1. I am glad that you have too. Welcome.

I have heard the Anne Hillerman books are good, and maybe tried them once or twice with neither success nor horror, but I am skeptical of Monarchies in both politics and art.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
