Each time I approach AI image generations in photography another little leap in the quality or capabilities of the technology has been made. Here the biggest ability improvement has to do with inpainting, that is, being able edit in details and especially text and design into the picture. While the AI fantasy is that one can just give a detailed description to the AI and get the picture one wants, this feels a little more like it to me; to where I can build what I want in pieces. It makes it a bit less like "Dial Some Art" and more like being the director of an image that I can craft in a myriad of ways. I can get closer to what I want and further from taking whatever neat thing the AI can produce.
I don't know how apparent the improvements are to you in a picture like this, but for me it's about how many more details are right, from the spelling to the boots to the mouse to the assorted product placements. It has the least flaws of any picture I've made like this.
And so voila: a picture from Clerkmanifestoland!

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.
I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!
One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
