The year in photos

Before we get too far into this new year let's take a look back at the last year, with pictures! Oh, not pictures of anything relevant to anything much that happened last year, just... pictures, I took... of stuff.

To prepare for the year in review in pictures I went through all the three million eleven hundred thousand pictures I took this year and chose just 74 to show you.

Oh.

74 is too many?

That's okay. I thought maybe it was too many too.

Maybe.

So how 'bout one picture for every month of last year, like a calendar. This is all about last year, but it can be your calendar for this year.

All I have to do is to get rid of 62 pictures.

But don't worry about me.

Most of what I do here on clerkmanifesto is get rid of stuff.

  1. Great selection! (Well, not too fond of January and February, sorry.) Maybe next August I'll make myself a calendar page for my birthday month!

    1. Glad you like them, although a bit of uh-oh for January/February as we're on quite a vein of abstract pictures here in Saint Minneapolis, and you'll be seeing more here- though hopefully they'll be different enough for you, more colorful.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
