More adventures of the flower spy

A villain roams these neighborhoods, a villain like no one has ever seen before. And who will stop him?

The Police?

Oh no. They are too busy beating up the people protesting about the police beating up people.

Vigilantes?

No. The vigilantes are storming the Statehouse to demand their god given right to contract and spread deadly viruses.

Sorry. It makes more sense if you're one of them.

How about the National Guard? I heard they called up the National Guard.

No. They just march around comically in their vintage WWI "Doughboy" Uniforms looking like they wouldn't hurt a fly.

Who will stop this villain then?

Alas there is no one.

He roams at will.

Law and order has broken down.

Look! There he is now! Walking down the sidewalk with his camera like, like, like you can just do that!

"Hey, what are you doing down there?"

"Oh, sorry. I was just photographing your flowers."

"My flowers?"

"Yeah. This is a super close up lens."

"Oh. I just, uh, wondered what you were doing down there."

Ha ha ha! Wonder all you like. You cannot stop him. Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world. The blood dimmed tide is loosed! Who will stop him?

The Governor?

The Governor will stop him?

Oh my sweet Summer child. The ceremony of innocence is drowned.

The Governor's yard is next!

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
