Interlude

After about 4,000 blogposts here, I thought it might be nice to have an interlude.

Originally I just thought it would be an interlude between lots of pictures of streams I've already shown you, and more photographs of streams I'm planning to show you. This, let me tell you, is a lot of stream pictures for the poor Internet to endure.

Sidenote:

Here is a useful and telling difference between real life and the Internet:

In real life it is pretty easy to look at water. On the Internet it is demanding and exhausting.

In contrast, the Internet can watch people getting blown up all day long, but it's very unpleasant in real life.

End of sidenote.

But once I was onto the idea of an interlude, I thought of the intermission I once experienced in a movie theater watching Doctor Zhivago. Wouldn't it be nice, I thought, to take a day of relaxation in between the first 4,000 blogposts and the next 4,000 blogposts? I had a few random, uncompelling pictures that I took near where I took my water pictures, and I thought we could look at those while we gathered our strength for the next eleven year section.

Then of course I realized this is an extremely silly idea.

Then I did it anyway because when we hunt and kill something here at clerkmanifesto, we use every part of the animal, all the way from the cute, fluffy tail, to the scream of death.

Post a Comment

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.

I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!

One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
