A patron came to me at the front desk of the library.
They asked, "Can you help me find a book that will teach me to use a handgun, specifically a 9mm?"
One might think I would be extra nice to a possibly armed patron, but no. Although I'll concede there might be a good joke in that, I was just normal nice.
And anyway, if they were armed they didn't even know how to use it!
Hmmmm
Well, I might have said "I don't know if we have any books, but I can show you how to use a 9mm."
The patron would hand me the gun.
"See this?" I would say. "This is the trigger. You just pull it like this."
Then I would add "Oops."
Then I would get the first aid kit.

If you were wondering, yes, you should comment. Not only does it remind me that I must write in intelligible English because someone is actually reading what I write, but it is also a pleasure for me since I am interested in anything you have to say.
I respond to pretty much every comment. It's like a free personalized blog post!
One last detail: If you are commenting on a post more than two weeks old I have to go in and approve it. It's sort of a spam protection device. Also, rarely, a comment will go to spam on its own. Give either of those a day or two and your comment will show up on the blog.
